Blood Bank in Need of Blood

The Owen King European Hospital (OKEUH) is extending an urgent call to the public to donate blood. In recent, the need for blood has increased due to a rise in road accidents and physical assaults, therefore placing a great burden on the St. Lucia Blood Bank Services.


As a result, a schedule has been created for persons seeking to donate to the Blood Bank through its mobile services.


On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, the mobile blood bank will be available at the William Peter Boulevard, Castries. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, the mobile service will be available at the OKEUH.


Donating blood at this time is critical, as no one knows whose life may be saved tomorrow.
